Blue Origin postponed the second launch of its New Glenn rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on November 12, 2025, at 7:22 AM PST, citing solar activity and its potential effects on the ESCAPADE spacecraft.
The company announced its decision to postpone the launch just hours before its scheduled Wednesday liftoff. A new launch date remains unannounced.

The New Glenn rocket’s initial launch in January served as a demonstration mission. This second launch, however, carries a commercial payload for the first time: NASA’s Mars-bound ESCAPADE science mission.
Previous launch attempts for the second New Glenn flight faced delays. An attempt this past Sunday was canceled due to weather concerns, a cruise ship entering the flight path, and issues with launch pad equipment.
