Apple will host its iPhone 17 launch event, titled “Awe dropping,” on Tuesday, September 9. The event’s logo, prominently displayed on Apple’s website, contains an interactive feature.

The logo resembles an infrared-style rendering of the Apple symbol. Typically, Apple event logos feature dynamic versions with animations. This year, CEO Tim Cook shared an animated rendition of the logo in a video posted on X. This animated version highlights the logo’s visual style.

Aaron Perris discovered an interactive easter egg embedded within the event logo. The Apple.com event page prominently features the interactive logo. Users can engage with the logo by tapping and dragging, or by clicking and dragging, causing the colors within the logo to swirl in response to their movements.

Functionally, the Apple logo operates as a heat map, tracking the user’s input. Wherever a user presses or clicks, the area illuminates in red, accompanied by a yellow shimmer around the periphery of the touch or click. This interactive element provides a unique user experience on the Apple website.
