Arcanix, a platform designed to streamline and enhance the live operations (LiveOps) of video games, has announced a significant milestone in its growth. The company has secured investment and accelerator support from ForsVC and imec.istart, a prominent European tech accelerator. This partnership is set to accelerate Arcanix’s product development, team expansion, and the onboarding of early partners.

Arcanix is developing a new class of SaaS tools aimed at making the continuous management of games more efficient, engaging, and effective. The platform leverages data-driven insights and forecasting to provide game teams with a comprehensive view of operational efficiency, player engagement, and revenue. By making LiveOps “smarter,” Arcanix aims to help developers create more commercially sustainable games that are more enjoyable for players.

The new partnership includes Arcanix joining imec. istart’s accelerator program in Belgium. As part of this move, Arcanix will establish a new entity in Belgium while maintaining its operational base in the UK. Ella Romanos, CEO of Arcanix, commented on the development: “This is a major milestone for us. With ForsVC and imec.istart behind us, we’re ready to deliver a platform that empowers game teams to run better LiveOps – smarter, fairer, and built for long-term success. We’re proud to grow across both Belgium and Scotland.”

The investment and partnership have been met with enthusiasm from the new backers. Eric Diepeveen, Venture Partner at ForsVC, stated: “Arcanix is solving one of gaming’s most pressing challenges – scaling LiveOps while staying true to players. The team’s deep industry expertise and bold vision make them an exciting partner for us.” Robby Wauters, Venture Acceleration Manager at imec.istart, added: “LiveOps games is a fast-moving sector – and Arcanix is poised to deliver strategic value to game teams. We’re excited to support their journey and welcome them to our accelerator program.”

The Arcanix team plans to use this strategic backing to accelerate product development and expand its team across Europe. The company will be at DevCom and Gamescom in Cologne from August 18th to 22nd, where they will speak with game developers about their LiveOps Strategy platform. They are also helping to organize a LiveOps Networking Happy Hour in conjunction with the Community Clubhouse.
