Agilix’s AI tutor is leveling up K-12 learning

NorthStar Academy integrates BusyBee AI to deliver real-time feedback, reduce grading time, and enhance personalized learning across its online Christian K-12 programs.

Agilix Labs has partnered with NorthStar Academy to integrate its AI teaching assistant, BusyBee, into the K-12 programs, aiming to enhance the learning experience with cutting-edge technology built on Amazon Bedrock.

NorthStar Academy, an accredited online Christian school serving grades 4-12 globally, has chosen BusyBee for its ability to provide instant, personalized feedback and reduce administrative workload, allowing educators to focus on meaningful student interactions. Stephanie Shafer, Executive Director at NorthStar Academy, notes that BusyBee is transforming how teachers teach and students learn.

  • AI-powered grading support: assisting teachers with grading tasks
  • Assessment generation tools: helping create customized assessments
  • Intelligent student feedback: offering personalized feedback to students
  • Customized support strategies: tailoring support to individual students’ needs

Early results from the implementation show a significant reduction in administrative tasks, increased one-on-one student interaction, strong adoption rates across grade levels, and enhanced assessment efficiency. The partnership includes full integration of BusyBee across all NorthStar Academy programs, customized AI training for faculty and staff, ongoing support and optimization, and regular performance analytics and insights.
