iBase-t and Articul8 want to make factories think for themselves

GenAI meets manufacturing ops as Articul8’s intelligence engine plugs into iBase-t’s Solumina platform.

iBase-t and Articul8 are teaming up to inject AI into manufacturing, aiming to streamline operations in the aerospace and defense sectors. The partnership integrates Articul8’s Generative AI platform with iBase-t’s Solumina Manufacturing Operations Platform.

The goal is to provide AI-driven insights and automation, leveraging Articul8’s GenAI capabilities with iBase-t’s expertise in simplifying complex manufacturing processes. The collaboration seeks to improve data-driven decision-making, streamline operations, and boost productivity for manufacturers.

According to Sung Kim, CTO of iBase-t, the integration of AI-powered intelligence is crucial for simplifying the complexities of aerospace and defense manufacturing. He stated that empowering Solumina users with expert-level GenAI capabilities will drive greater efficiency and accelerate time to market.

Naveen Poonian, CEO of iBase-t, said that aerospace and defense manufacturers require AI solutions tailored to their specific challenges. He added that iBase-t is defining how AI transforms A&D manufacturing, quality, and sustainment by collaborating with organizations like Articul8 to deliver intelligent automation and real-time adaptability within Solumina.

Arun Subramaniyan, Founder & CEO of Articul8, stated that the collaboration aligns with their mission to solve complex industry challenges through AI. He believes that combining Articul8’s domain-specific GenAI platform with iBase-t products will bring expert-level reasoning to aerospace and defense manufacturing, reducing manual effort and improving process intelligence.
