Cognizant just bought fintech firm Meritsoft

Based in Dublin, Ireland, Meritsoft is known for its intelligent automation solutions for financial institutions.

Cognizant announced its acquisition of Meritsoft, a Dublin-based fintech firm specializing in post-trade processing software, on March 5, 2019. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cognizant, a major player in professional services, acquired Meritsoft, an award-winning fintech innovator. The deal aims to bolster Cognizant’s offerings in the financial sector, particularly in areas like trade processing and automation.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, Meritsoft is known for its intelligent automation solutions for financial institutions. Its flagship product, FINBOS, is a centralized platform for managing post-trade processes, such as taxes, fees, and commissions.

This acquisition will allow both companies to combine and expand their services.
