Acuvity, a leading runtime generative AI security platform company, has introduced its GenAI Service Risk Evaluation Report, a new feature designed to provide rapid risk assessments for emerging AI services like DeepSeek. This launch addresses the urgent need for organizations to quickly understand and manage the security implications of rapidly adopted GenAI technologies.

The recent surge in DeepSeek adoption, particularly within resource-constrained sectors like credit unions, highlighted the challenges IT security teams face in keeping pace with new AI services. These organizations often struggle to identify and mitigate risks associated with unfamiliar technologies, leading to security gaps and operational disruptions.

Acuvity’s new one-click risk evaluation feature aims to simplify this process. By providing instant insights into key risk factors, organizations can make informed decisions without extensive manual analysis or delays.

“Acuvity’s runtime platform discovered and analyzed the risk of DeepSeek several months before it made headlines,” said Satyam Sinha, CEO and co-founder of Acuvity. “While the GenAI risk rating was readily available to our customers, it became clear that they needed information regarding the service’s data privacy, security, and residency with just one click of the mouse. Organizations can now quickly discover which GenAI services are in use and gather its risk rating along with its risk evaluation.”

  • Data usage and training policies
  • Dependencies on other AI models

Acuvity’s AI-powered discovery and risk evaluation system continuously monitors and updates information on new and existing GenAI services. This ensures that organizations have access to the latest security insights. Furthermore, Acuvity’s Runtime Platform allows organizations to create and enforce GenAI usage policies based on assessed risks.
