NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, including the RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5060 Ti, have had their specifications leaked by the well-known leaker kopite7kimi.

Specifications of the RTX 50 series

The entry-level RTX 5050 features GB207-300-A1 silicon on a PG152-SKU50 board, boasting 2,560 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 128-bit interface with a thermal design power (TDP) of 130 W.

The mid-tier RTX 5060 utilizes GB206-250-A1 silicon on a PG152-SKU25 board, equipped with 3,840 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR7 memory, and has a TDP of 150 W.

The more powerful RTX 5060 Ti incorporates GB206-300-A1 silicon along with two board versions (PG152-SKU10/15), which likely correspond to two different memory configurations. It features 4,608 CUDA cores and offers either 8 GB or 16 GB of GDDR7 memory with a power envelope of 180 W.

Notably, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti adopt next-generation GDDR7 memory technology, while the RTX 5050 is equipped with GDDR6 memory. All three models maintain a consistent 128-bit memory bus. This suggests that NVIDIA is leveraging memory compression technologies and the increased bandwidth of GDDR7 to enhance performance without widening the memory interface.

The RTX 5050 targets 1080p gaming, while the RTX 5060 is suited for high-refresh 1080p and entry-level 1440p gaming. The RTX 5060 Ti is designed for solid performance at 1440p across most titles. Further details regarding the exact release date and availability are expected in the coming weeks.
