The upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti has recently surfaced in the official Blender Open Benchmark database, revealing its performance ahead of its scheduled retail release on February 20, 2025. The card shows promising results in both Blender and Geekbench OpenCL tests.
RTX 5070 Ti performance metrics
The RTX 5070 Ti scored a median of 7,521 points in Blender, making it 7.6% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which scored 6,986 points, and 20% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti at 6,186 points. While this performance gap is notable, it is below the expected 30% increase typical for generational upgrades.
In the Geekbench OpenCL test, the card achieved a score of 248,739 points. This score places it nearly on par with the RTX 4080 SUPER, which scored 247,099 points, and 11% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER at 222,922 points.

The RTX 5070 Ti was tested on a system featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and DDR5-6000 memory (32 GB), with the GPU operating at a maximum frequency of 2,482 MHz.
It is important to note that neither Blender nor Geekbench results are gaming benchmarks, and the performance may vary in gaming scenarios based on various factors, including graphics APIs and game engines.
Technical specifications and pricing
The RTX 5070 Ti features a cut-down GB203 GPU with 8,960 CUDA Cores and 16 GB of upgraded GDDR7 memory, providing a bandwidth of 896 GB/s—78% higher than the RTX 4070 Ti’s bandwidth of 504 GB/s. The GPU operates at a boost clock of 2.45 GHz.
NVIDIA has targeted a price of $749 for the RTX 5070 Ti, which offers significant improvements over the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. The card supports NVIDIA’s latest technologies, including DLSS 4, Multi Frame Generation, Neural Rendering, and Mega Geometry. Additionally, it features the faster DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 video output.
The card will be released only in AIB variants, as NVIDIA does not plan to produce a Founders Edition for the RTX 5070 Ti, unlike the RTX 5090, 5080, and possibly the RTX 5070. The release aligns with AMD’s RX 9070 series launch, which is expected to offer competition in the same price range.
