GPT-4o Large, at least a new ChatGPT model, confirmed! To be clear, GPT-4o Large is not the new ChatGPT model’s official name yet. However, @iruletheworldmo named it GPT-4o Large, and we are expecting it. If you think about what we are talking about and who this X account is, Let me explain it first: interesting things have been happening at OpenAI recently!

@iruletheworldmo, aka project strawberry / qstar, is either a very clever marketing tactic or an early AGI.  Two weeks ago, a mysterious account surfaced that seems to have deep knowledge about OpenAI. It quickly gained attention, being followed by Sam Altman and the official ChatGPT account, and it hints a lot about the future of AI, AGI, and even OpenAI’s next model!

Now, one thing is sure: a new ChatGPT model is here, and it’s time to explore it!

Update: The much-anticipated August 13, 2024, has passed, and OpenAI delivered a surprise that exceeded all expectations. They unveiled the new model: ChatGPT-4o Latest.

Previously known as GPT-4o Large, this model has been officially renamed ChatGPT-4o Latest, representing the most advanced version of OpenAI’s GPT-4o. Continuously updated, it boasts 128,000 token bindings and 16,384 token outputs, making it tailor-made for chat applications.

Interestingly, the @iruletheworldmo account and ChatGPT’s official X platform account are no longer following each other.

The performance of the new model is nothing short of remarkable. In the LMSYS Chatbot Arena, ChatGPT-4o Latest secured the top spot with an impressive score of 1314.

This is a developing article.

New ChatGPT new model: GPT-4o Large explained

GPT-4o Large is a streamlined variant of GPT-4, developed to offer powerful language processing capabilities while reducing the computational overhead typically associated with large-scale AI models. We’re still learning about its exact features, but it’s designed to bring more efficiency and versatility to the table. However, there is a “lot of work to do.”

lot of work left to do! we're on it

How to use the new ChatGPT model

You can access GPT-4o Large through various AI service platforms that offer the model, including ChatGPT itself.

If you’re using a cloud service like OpenAI’s API, select GPT-4o from the list of available models.

For local use, download the model weights and integrate them into your chosen development environment.

The strawberry hype: Meet iruletheworldmo

The user “@iruletheworldmo” on X (formerly Twitter) played a big role in creating excitement about OpenAI’s “Project Strawberry.” It posted mysterious messages hinting at a big breakthrough in AI, especially about reaching “level two” in AI abilities.

In one key post, @iruletheworldmo wrote, “Welcome to level two. How do you feel? Did I make you feel?” This got people talking because it suggested that something important was happening in AI. Many thought “level two” referred to moving from basic chatbots to more advanced AI that can think and reason.

Sam Altman’s reaction

What made this even more exciting was that Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, replied to the post, saying, “Amazing tbh.” His response made people believe that something big, like Project Strawberry, was really coming soon.

Why it matters

This interaction caused a lot of buzz because it seemed to confirm that OpenAI was about to announce a major new AI development. @iruletheworldmo’s posts and Altman’s reaction made people think that we might be about to see a new, smarter AI that can do more than just chat—it can actually reason and solve complex problems.

In short, @iruletheworldmo’s messages helped build the excitement around Project Strawberry, making people believe that a big leap in AI technology is just around the corner. Is it GPT4 4-o Large? We have to wait a little bit more!
