First hints about iOS 19 have surfaced online. In a recent announcement at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple unveiled iOS 18, highlighting exciting new home screen features, the innovative Apple Intelligence, and much more. However, the tech giant is already looking ahead. According to Bloomberg, Apple has started developing on its next round of operating systems, including iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and visionOS 3, slated for release next year.

What to expect from iOS 19?

With the release of iOS 18 on the horizon, Apple is already looking ahead to iOS 19, which is expected to launch in 2025. While specific details about iOS 19 are still under wraps, several anticipated features and enhancements are beginning to surface, thanks to recent reports and Apple’s current trajectory in artificial intelligence and system integration.

  • Focus on privacy and security: Continuing its commitment to user privacy, iOS 19 is likely to introduce more sophisticated privacy controls and security features. Building on the redesigned privacy settings in iOS 18, which allow users to manage contact sharing and Bluetooth privacy more effectively, iOS 19 might offer even greater control over personal data and app permissions.
  • New user interface and customization options: Apple’s focus on customization seen in iOS 18, such as personalized home screens and enhanced app icons, will likely be expanded in iOS 19.
