What is Zoom with Galaxy AI?

Marking the dawn of a new era in smartphone photography, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra is gearing up to introduce a groundbreaking camera feature – the Zoom with Galaxy AI. Following the announcement of the Galaxy S24’s arrival on January 17, 2024, Samsung spilled the beans on the ultimate camera zoom feature, powered by the remarkable Galaxy AI technology.

The device boasts an enhanced version of the ISOCELL HP2 200-megapixel sensor, seamlessly integrated with Galaxy AI. The star of the show is the Zoom Anyplace technology, showcased in three tantalizing teaser videos. This technology allows users to zoom in on a subject, even if it’s positioned at the edge of the screen, without altering the full-scope filming angle. In simpler terms, you have the freedom to zoom in and out as you please, capturing moments with unparalleled flexibility, according to Sammy Fans!

If you bought something through Samsung UK, your data might be compromised

The Galaxy AI’s intelligent camera algorithm takes it a step further by enabling in-sensor cropping, allowing the Galaxy S24 Ultra to capture specific areas of an object or scene with precision. As depicted in the teasers, users can zoom into a scene without sacrificing quality, thanks to the module’s 3x and 5x optical zoom sensors, delivering an impressive 10x optical-like quality performance.
