Data management innovator Asystec, has entered into a joint venture with networking solutions provider Cisco in order to combine their “unique methodology and expertise in Data Analytics while Cisco delivers infrastructure and experience to provide a complete Big Data solution.”
“Corporate partnerships are fueling the growth of the world’s most successful companies as the demand to provide new innovative products that deliver on customers’ expectations increases,” explains Asystec CEO Les Byrne, reports “We believe this partnership will be truly successful and will deliver unique value to our customers.”
Apart from Asystec’s investments in the form of human resources, marketing and training at their ‘innovation labs’ in Belfast, Dublin, Limerick and Cork, Cisco will put in €200,000 into the joint venture.
Cisco Ireland manager, Adam Grennan further said: “We are rapidly beginning to experience what we call the ‘Internet of everything’. With each new person, process, piece of data, or thing that comes online, the connection possibilities between all these elements grows exponentially.”
The Irish startup, founded in 2011, has a workforce of 18 and is privately owned, reports Business and Leadership.
