In an announcement on Monday TIBCO Software Inc. presented the strong performance of its analytics and data discovery platform,TIBCO Spotfire®, in the The Forrester Wave: Agile Business Intelligence Platforms, Q3 2014 report. Among the 16 others featured in the report Spotfire® ranked first in “Current Offering” and “Agile BI – Clicks to Answer”.
Forrester Research rated the current product offerings included in the report based on there performance regarding 15 criteria. They also supplied a data set, that was used as a test ground for these programs,in order to compare how effective users were able to work with each of them. According to the research company, Agile BI is a “key element in the business agility equation.”
Another one of TIBCO’s products, the recently aquired open-source solution Jaspersoft, which is a highly acclaimed open-source solution for embedded Bi and reporting, also scored as a “Strong Performer”.
