MapR, a leading provider of Apache™ Hadoop®, has been awarded a number of awards honouring important companies in the in the cloud and big data industries. Below are the three awards MapR has received recently.

AlwaysOn evaluated companies in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to select the top 100 private companies that are building the future today and pulling down the walls surrounding legacy attitudes. MapR was named a top company in the cloud and application platforms category.

CRN Big Data 100: Big Data Infrastructure, Tools and Services

MapR was named in the second annual CRN Big Data 100: Big Data Infrastructure, Tools and Services. CRN identified companies that demonstrate the ability to innovate in bringing to market products and services that help business work with big data.

DBTA 2014 100: The Companies that Matter Most in Data

MapR ranked among the top companies in Database Trends and Applications’ (DBTA) second annual DBTA 2014 100. The publication set out to recognize innovative providers of hardware, software and services.
